RESIDENT SPOTLIGHT

The greatest resource of Bennington will ALWAYS be the residents themselves. As promised, the focus of the town moving forward will be on the RESIDENTS. There are so many extraordinarily talented people in our town and it’s time they were recognized and appreciated. Every month we will spotlight a new resident for their special talent and encourage you all to take a minute of your time to learn about them, contact them, and support them in any way you can. EVERYONE in Bennington wins when we support each other.
Our resident spotlight for this month is long overdue in Bennington and will not be focused on one person. Instead, we will recognize the bravery and dedication of the 14 Heroes that will make up our 2026 Hometown Heroes Banner Program. These Hometown Heroes banners are more than photographs on our streets — they are symbols of courage, sacrifice, and love of country.
To every veteran, active‑duty service member, first responder and the families who stood beside them, we say thank you. Your dedication protects the freedoms we cherish, and your example strengthens our community.
As these banners rise, may they remind us that heroism lives right here at home — in our neighbors, our friends, and our families.
Bennington is proud of you, grateful for you, and honored to celebrate you today.
